Diets For Those With Diverticulitis

When small pockets form in the wall of the colon, it is called Diverticulosis. When these pockets become inflamed or infected, that is called, Diverticulitis. The pockets can become inflamed and infected by non-moving fecal material. The symptoms of diverticulitis are abdominal pain and midiscomfort, and fever. A person can follow two diets, one to relieve the diverticulitis and one to prevent diverticulitis from occurring.
