Working From Home
Working from home was a goal of mine for some time! It may sound old fashioned, but I have always wanted to be able to stay at home and raise my children. However, in this day and age, it can be hard to stay at home and not make any extra income for the additional needs of a family. This is a day of great opportunities though! There are many opportunities in which to work from the comfort of your own home.
What I really like about being able to work from home is that I can determine my schedule. If I am needed to do something in my home, I can do it! Whether it be laundry, answering a personal phone call, tending to the needs of a child, getting dinner started, or something else, I can do it and not even get into trouble for it! If I oversleep in the morning, it is all right. If I am sick, I can work in my pajamas. My schedule is flexible and meets the needs of my household. It is not rigid.
Another thing I like about working from home is that there is a wide variety of job opportunities. Not all are as flexible as what I am currently doing, but they can all be done from the comfort of my own home. Giving piano lessons, caring for children of others, providing tutoring services, and performing data entry tasks for various companies are all excellent work from home opportunities! Because of these wide varieties of jobs to choose from, there is something that fits my needs for my household.
Working from home can even save money! I do not have to drive to work, and pay the sky high gas prices. My household only requires one vehicle, which means less for car insurance as well! I will not have to send my children to childcare because I can be at home with them. Those are some major expenses that I will not have for my home!
Working from home will be a benefit to my future children as well. I can schedule my work around my time with them. This will enable me to ensure they are eating healthy meals, playing, and getting the exercise they need. They will also learn social skills and manners because I am there to teach them. I can be more involved in my children’s lives this way!
My future husband will also benefit from my working at home. He can know I will be there when he gets home from work. He can count on me to have the house in order. His life will be less stressful because I am there to care of our home and our children while he is away all day. Not to mention, I will have a little extra income to contribute to extra needs of our family. Our marriage is sure to be quite happy as a result of all of these things. Working from home really will benefit my entire family!
