Here’s a free diet you can use as an outline on how to lose 5 pounds a week. What I’ve done is kept it to easy things that busy people can do. So don’t think eating healthy and losing weight forces you to spend hours in the kitchen.
Free Lose 5 Pounds a Week Diet
Number 1: Eat eggs for breakfast
You need to start the day off right. Eggs have the highest protein values of any food. Protein also speeds up the metabolism… a good thing to do to start out the day. I suggest you eat 3-4 scrambled eggs. If you want to add cut up tomatoes, onions, etc… go for it. But if you’re pressed for time, skip it.
Number 2: Eat black beans with your meals
I consider black beans to be a “superfood”. Each 48 cent can contains 25 grams of protein and 25 grams of fiber. The fiber is key. The average American only gets 12 grams of fiber each day. But it’s recommended that you take in 25 grams of fiber. So all you need to do is each 1 can of black beans each day.
Break it up however you want, just make sure by the end of the day you ate 1 can of the black beans. I prefer a half can during breakfast and lunch.
Number 3: Eat apples and grapes for snacks
Apples are great because not only are they high in water content (eating water), each apple also has 5 grams of fiber. Grapes are great too, but they don’t contain that fiber. One thing… don’t worry about the natural sugars in these fruits, just worry about sugars in processed foods.
