By having a good amount of traffic to your website will allow you to build an opt-in and grow the list from there. This allows you to have a good list of loyal followers anytime you want to make an offer.

People in the subscribers are people who are interested in what you are offering them i.e. valuable information, freebies, etc. But that does not mean that every single one of your subscribers will be reading what you sent them.

The Google Site Map

I believe, that if you have a web site that already has a page rank and is listed in the serp’s, there is a good possibility, that putting a Google sitemap on your site at this point, will have a negative effect on your site. I base this conclusion on personal experiences and I’m relating it to you for your consideration only.

I joined the sitemap program, shortly after it was introduced, with the expectations of improving my page rank and increasing my web site visibility. At the time, I had a medium ranking and I was indexed with a fair listing in the search engine. A week after uploading the sitemap my page rank was zero and my web site had disappeared from the search engine.

Comments - Should They Be Allowed On Blogs?

Should you allow comments to be made on your blog? I have read that some blog are better off without comments and the subscription rate actually increase. However, I disagree with turning off the comment system and it should be left on and here is why I believe that.

1. Commenting is the Best Way For Readers to Communicate With You

With your comment system, you allow your readers to easily communicate with you and give their opinions. You will have to deal with spam and negative comments, but rarely do you get those and there is plug-in to delete spam anyway. Without comments, the only way your readers can talk to you is via email and I am sure that you know people rarely respond to you via email.

Top 10 Website Optimization Factors Impacting Organic Search Engine Traffic

1. Use your keyword in your Title tag

One of the biggest mistakes made by web designers is not utilizing the power of the title tag. The title tag gets bolded in search engine results and can be a big influence on converting a searcher into a visitor. Forgo the use of the company name in the title tag and instead use the keywords that will drive traffic to your site. Don’t use too many words in the title, as the more words you use, the more diluted your keywords become.

2. Anchor text of inbound links
